Conveniently located ten minutes southeast of the I-64 and I-295 interchange, Rising Mount Zion Church strives to be obedient to the Lord.  As faithful servants of the Lord we make every effort to meet people at their need.  This is evidenced by the many wonderful works our members and organizations joyfully support on a daily basis.

Through the grace and mercy of God, Rising Mount Zion Church reflects on significant blessings as we approach our centennial celebration.  Most importantly we look forward to the challenges ahead in winning souls for the Lord.  We are thankful for the opportunity to share with you the ministry that God has placed in our stewardship. It is our desire to serve the Lord with gladness and to fulfill the mission of our church conference.

We believe God wants each of us to reach out for ways to grow stronger in our walk with him; therefore we offer multiple opportunities for Christian growth.  One such opportunity is our Sunday morning Bible study and fellowship time, or Church School, during which we meet together in small groups to learn from God’s Word and build relationships.  In addition, we are constantly developing new ministries to help and encourage each other to grow in Christ.
